PENGARUH LABA, ARUS KAS, LEVERAGE DAN NILAI TUKAR TERHADAP FINANCIAL DISTRESS

Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of profit, cash flow, leverage and exchange rates on financial distress (manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector 2020-2022). The population in this study are manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2022 period. This research method uses a quantitative approach using the Statistical Package for the Social Science 25 program, with a sampling technique that is purposive sampling. The results of the study prove that earnings have a negative and significant effect on financial distress with a significance value of 0.000. Cash flow has a positive and significant effect on financial distress with a significance value of 0.000. Leverage has a negative and significant effect on financial distress with a significance value of 0.000. The exchange rate has no effect and is not significant on financial distress. Simultaneously earnings, cash flow, leverage and exchange rates have a significant effect on financial distress.
