Abstract


Abstract This study aims to provide empirical evidence of the effect of workload on employee performance and work motivation, the effect of work motivation on employee performance, and the mediating effect of work motivation on the effect of workload on employee performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with a path analysis model. The research population is employees who work at the head office of BPR Ekadharma Bhinaraharja Kawedanan, totaling 68 people. The number of samples using the census method or the saturated sampling technique. The research instrument is a questionnaire and data analysis techniques using path analysis and Sobel test. The results of the study prove that (1) Workload has a significant effect on the performance of BPR Ekadharma Bhinaraharja Kawedanan employees in a positive direction, (2) Workload has a significant effect on work motivation of BPR Ekadharma Bhinaraharja Kawedanan employees in a positive direction, (3) Work motivation has a significant effect on the performance of BPR Ekadharma Bhinaraharja Kawedanan employees in a positive direction, and (4) There is a mediating effect of work motivation on the effect of workload on the performance of BPR Ekadharma Bhinaraharja Kawedanan employees.
