Abstract


In general, all companies must increase the company value in order to achieve its main goal, the welfare of company owners and shareholders. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of company growth and profitability on company value with capital structure as moderating variable in consumer goods industry sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2016-2018 period. The data used is secondary data from the IDX and the company website. The population of this study were all companies in the consumer goods industry sector, amounting to 53 companies. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method in order to obtain 40 companies. The data analysis technique used Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA). Data was processed using IBM SPSS Statistics v.21. The results show that company growth had no effect on company value. Profitability had a significant effect on firm value. Capital structure do not moderate the relationship between company growth and value. Capital structure do not moderate the relationship between profitability and company value.
