PERAN BANTUAN SOSIAL PADA ASPEK PENDIDIKAN ANAK BAGI PENERIMA PROGRAM KELUARGA HARAPAN TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN RUMAH TANGGA MISKIN

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of social assistance on the educational aspects of children in poor household welfare, find out the motives for mediating the recipient of the Family Hope Program (PKH) on poor household welfare and determine the mediating effect of the knowledge of the role of children's education on poor household welfare. The research method uses descriptive qualitative method, the place and time of the research in Ngepeh village, Saradan sub-district, Madiun district, the implementation time is 3 months. Data sources are informants who get help from the hope family program on the educational aspect. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The conclusions of the results of this study indicate that the role of social assistance in the aspect of children's education for recipients of the Family Hope Program can ease the burden of expenditure on poor households, increase parents' knowledge about PKH membership, Poor Household children are able to complete elementary school even up to junior and senior high school levels. The negative impact is that the Family Hope Program assistance is often misinterpreted by poor households that are spent on basic needs, and also people are lazy to work and are very hopeful in the Family Hope Program assistance.
