FOLKLOR DAN PERANANNYA DALAM MENUMBUHKEMBANGKAN WAWASAN MULTIKULTURAL SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Folklore is an ancientculture that have known according hereditary. Folklore can be know as legend, myth, fairy tale or speech history. Folklore contains the messages to be delivered to the publicsuch as in the form of meaning and function, value and norm as well as local wisdom. Folklore can be used as improving insight into multicultural to elementary school students. An insight into multicultural can be applied in contextual, by using “local wisdom” to build an understanding, respecting the differences of culture value, etnicity,tribes of the nation based on the environment. Folklore can be used for building insight into multicultural by using folklore as learning media and source of learning for elementary school students.
